On August 1, 2025, Director Prof.Yasuda of our Brazil Center and Associate Prof. Kurosaki of Nagasaki University visited the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (FIOCRUZ Rio de Janeiro) in Rio de Janeiro.

The institute was founded in 1900 as the National Institute of Serum Therapy, and is one of the largest medical research centers in Latin America.

During their visit, they toured the institute’s NB3 laboratory and exchanged opinions on biosafety.
